    In the light of scripture, we also understand that Jesus’ second coming is not about coming to keep a check on evil that’s getting out of hand in the world. On the contrary, we are to hasten His second coming by exercising righteousness in the world (2Pet 3:11-12) because the groom will only come for His bride/Church when she is ready, and the Almighty Holy Spirit is absolutely competent is making sure this happens.
