So, while the One true Triune God is good in nature, accomplishing righteousness as He loves Himself and serves His own interest because He is God Almighty indeed. The unbeliever leaves nothing but regret and destruction in his wake, which inadvertently catches up with him in time as he loves himself and serves his own selfish interest because he is living a damn lie, living for himself like he is his own god.
So, as much as you wouldn’t bite a rabid dog for biting you. We understand that the Biblical context of an eye for an eye and turn the other cheek, is not to give way for wickedness but to persevere in continually exercising the righteousness of God, which this damn world hates, and we are not to respond by resorting to their own wicked devices, in getting back at them.

There is however no fulfillment in fornication, theft, murder, covetousness, avarice, bearing false witness, gossip and drunkenness but mankind from the fall of Adam tries to find fulfillment in these things, as though our life’s purpose was in these things.
We must understand that scripture teaches us to conform to the likeness of Christ in whose image we were made. So, just as there is no salvation without repentance, we are not required to forgive unless the person who has sinned against us is sorry for what he/she has done. In this context, even if the person who has sinned against us apologizes to us seventy times seven, we are to forgive in imitating the meek nature of Jesus Christ
Idolatry is simply the means of serving your own ungodly interests by way of fabricating gods for your worship, pursuing a life of greed, sexual immorality or a desire to wield power from that pride of self. Being satiated by God on the other hand is about using all the means God has provided you in life to serve His interest and good pleasure.
