Why accept Jesus as the personal King of your life? May be this question is in your mind or you may not yet be thinking along those lines but let me tell you why faith in Jesus is the only faith that exists from God. You may all agree with me when I say that God is greatest lover anytime & anywhere.
Allow me to introduce you to a situation, two men love their respective wives. One sacrifices his own needs and desires to tend to his wife. While the other exercises authority over his wife by telling her what to wear, what to cook, what to eat, where to go, what to do, who not to meet and stuff like that. Tell me now, which husband is the one who really loves his wife? Is it the one who puts rules, regulations & tries to command his wife? Or is it the one to sacrifices and gives up things to tend to his wife?
I am sure you will agree that the husband, who sacrifices, is the one who truly loves his wife. The husband, who dictates terms to his wife, may say that he is doing it out of concern but that kind of concern comes mostly from the desire to dominate rather than of love.
It is the same with the Jesus and His Church (believers), Jesus gave up His own life so that those who believe in Him can have eternal life in heaven in union with him. Jesus is Biblically known as the Groom and his Church (believers) is known as the bride (Eph 5:25). If you were to check up world religions, the rules and regulations are more of a power display to ascertain that their people are under authority, which like the dominating husband claims to be out of concern and love. World religions come to think that sacrificial love comes from every living thing but not God…He is too great to do that. They have never pondered that God can love beyond the love that can come from all creation put together. God’s sacrifice on the cross was this act of love, a love no god of every religion has shown.

he judges in favour of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free

But by the free gift of God’s grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free.

The holy God of Israel sets us free — his name is the Lord Almighty.
John 3:16
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
John 8:26
If the Son sets you free, then you will be really free.
